About us:
Softlution is looking for Java developers for our offices in Eindhoven. As a Java developer you are part of a growing development team using the agile development methodology and will be proactively involved in the full software development cycle. You are responsible for conceiving and writing code in order to deliver a positive contribution to the projects.
Position Title: Java Software Developers
Location: Pierbusch, Germany
Job description:
- You write code with focus on: quality, reusability and maintainability.
- You are responsible for Unit testing of your own code.
- You create Detailed Designs for critical Use Cases.
- You create documents about the code you write and write guidelines for others.
- You are able to read specifications and translate Use Cases into working code.
- You are responsible for coding of specific functional parts, platform extensions in the application or integration with other systems.
- You are able to proactively Identify possible future issues.
- You participate in the scrum meetings.
- You work closely with the Technical Lead and project managers to determine the functional and technical needs of the software solution.
- You design parts of the solution in collaboration with other software developers and Technical Lead of the team.
- You Work closely with the Quality Assurance team which will create and execute test cases to validate the quality of the software solutions.
Job requirements:
- You have a Bachelor degree in Information technology or software development.
- You have at least 3years of experience in java projects with significant size and complexity.
- You have passion for java-based web and open source technologies.
- Knowledge and experience in E-Business/ E-Commerce and PIM is an asset.
- You have good technical skills in: J2SE, J2EE, Spring, Eclipse, HTML/XML, CSS, JUnit, SQL, relational databases, web services, Subversion.
- Knowledge of: Javascript, jquery, ZK framework, Build tools (Ant, Maven), Unit testing is a plus.
- You have good MS office skills; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio.
- You speak English and Dutch. Speaking French and German is a plus.
