About us:
Softlution is looking for Java developers for our offices in Eindhoven. As a Java developer you are part of a growing development team using the agile development methodology and will be proactively involved in the full software development cycle.
You are responsible for conceiving and writing code in order to deliver a positive contribution to the projects.
Position title: Project Manager
Job Description:
- You deliver projects within time and budget.
- You participate in workshops with the customer in order to gather information about the needs.
- You create a high level and detailed project plan corresponding to the agreed project definition.
- You are responsible for meeting the Softlution quality standards.
- You facilitate the sales department with the RFP process and deliver input for offers.
- You are able to identify opportunities, new customers and new projects.
- You assure a daily follow up on the current projects (scrum meeting): task distribution (overview), canalize technical and other problems in consultation with the Technical Lead.
- You trigger escalations on time if needed (internal & external).
- You are able to motivate, coach and develop team members and evaluate the individual performances.
Job requirements:
- You have a degree in computer science or equivalent education (master or bachelor).
- You have at least 4 years of working experience as PM in IT environments.
- You have several years of experience with J2EE projects within E-Business / E-Commerce and / or PIM (product information management).
- You know how to plan and implement a project from conception to final acceptance.
- You have experience with standard software products such as Hybris, Heiler or Intershop.
- You can create technical analysis and implement solutions.
- You know how to inspire and motivate others to complete projects on time and correctly, because of your service-oriented attitude and knowledge.
- You understand the processes of our customers and can analyze their requests.
- You know how to lead and implement workshops.
- You are interested in new technologies and challenges and you have knowledge of application servers, relational databases and open source tools.
- You have good MS office skills; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio.
- You speak English and Dutch. Speaking French and German is a plus.
