Job description:

To manage a multidisciplinary regional team, setting regional strategy and coordinate, design, develop and implement integrated QHSES Management systems.  To advise and offer solution to Senior Managers on regional level in all aspects of QHSES Risk Management, to coordinate and to have open discussions with clients and or government and or community groups.

Qualification:

• University degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• 5-10 years experience managing QHSES at BU, project or plant level.

Nice to have:

• Masters Degree.
• Occupational QHSES.
• Industrial HSE.
• Experience in project management.
• Engineering / strong technical background / cross segment experience.
• Lead auditor certificates.

 Responsibilities: 

• Develop a comprehensive regional QHSES strategy.
• Minimize the number of accidents, incidents and environmental impact of our activities on the health and welfare of our employees and other parties.
• Lead the local QHSES function to implement the corporate vision, values and tools of the group within the region.
• Engaging regional QHSES function by communicating with all level to ensure staff is clear on their responsibilities.
• Ensuring QHSES best practices are recognized at entity level and effectively implement across the region.
• Provide specialist advice and support to QHSES Managers.
• Managing and developing the regional QHSES team.
• Influencing, pre-empting and setting new standards at regional level to ensure the companies interests represented effectively.
