Required Skills:
- 5+ years of IT experience and computer science / computer information systems bachelors degree
- Proven ability to drive from very high level design concepts to a detailed component design and implementation.
- Ability to conceptualize business and technical solutions; ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong background in implementing complex solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a competent modeler, proficient with UML. Must be proficient with design patterns and have the ability to apply them.
- Proven ability to keep the big picture in mind while developing components.
- Be comfortable getting hands-on in technical solutions. Expectations include items such as coding complex components, debugging a problem component of the system, tuning an environment, or writing queries, or generating ad hoc reports.
- Be equally comfortable working with management, business SME’s and hands on development teams.
- Experience working with a broad range of technologies. Specific technologies in solution set include Java, IBM WebSphere middleware, Oracle databases, BPM and ETL.
- Strong design skills in distributed technology including Java, Oracle and client server environment.
