The Contract Proposal Writer based in the metro west area and will be responsible for the overall drafting and presentation of content for RFPs/RFIs. Ideal candidates will be excellent communicators, with strong organizational skills and extensive writing experience in a professional environment.
The Client is in the business of network innovation, Telecomunications. From devices to data centers, from consumers to cloud providers, The client delivers the software, silicon and systems that transform the experience and economics of networking. The products and technology run the world's largest and most demanding networks today, enabling service providers, enterprises, and governments to create value and accelerate business success.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the proposal manager to establish best practices and firm standards for responding to requests for proposal and collaborate with the proposal team, and account team to draft content for RFP submissions.
- Draft, update and maintain practice descriptions, tailored content and other standard response language used in proposals and RFPs. This also includes:
- Design Guides
- Architecture Diagrams
- Proposal Templates
- Battle Cards
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years industry writing experience
- Excellent organization, project management, and communication skills required
- Knowledge of the principles and practices associated with the development of RFPs
- Knowledge of business English, spelling,punctuation and grammar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- The selected candidate will provide writing samples
- Prior Telecommunications experience is desired
