Roles & Responsibility:
- HOS -Quality Control Section (Field Quality Control & Laboratory)
- To monitor and control establishment, implementation, maintaining process and continual improvement of Quality Management System as per standards.
- Coordination with Higher Management regarding Laboratory and quality control issues.
- Coordination with PIC/Contractors/Associates/Suppliers/External agencies like Lab. regarding Quality Control issues
- To review and monitor field inspection reports and follow-up for the same.
- To monitor and control internal audits and compliance of non-conformities originated through external audits.
- To monitor and control training activities
- Conducting surprise checks to projects.
Supportive:
- Assistance to laboratory for NABL accreditation process.
- Technical support to Implementation, Field team and Laboratory team.
- Responsible for reviewing the prepared documents relevant to ISO- 14001, OHSAS 18001 & SA- 8000 and to monitor & control implementation of the same in Laboratory.
Authority:
- Interpretation of test reports (related to Civil Engineering only) and decision on the acceptance and rejection of materials.
- Rejection of the materials/activity, which does not meet with the specification/Tender requirements or applied Standards.
