Position Title: Finance Systems Support Analyst

Job Description:
The Finance Systems Support Analyst role is likely to suit someone already in a similar role or someone within a Finance organisation with extensive exposure to the information systems elements required to support Finance activities.
Role Description:
- Provide IT systems support to users of our Finance systems and work closely with the user community to recommend solutions
- Develop and/or configure solutions
- Primary focus on the development and support of Infor Sun Systems v5.4, along with related Infor applications such as iPOS, Collect and Q&A 10
- Analyse, design and implement business processes within the Infor systems suite, focussing on the configuration and development of those systems
- Develop application solutions and reporting capabilities which add value to the business
- Developing and estimating work breakdown structure
- Reporting against planned work, estimating % complete
- Working with programme/project teams to successfully deliver IT work packages
- Work with the user community to provide applications support, advising on potential solution options and resolving user issues
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Experience of using or supporting Finance systems would be an advantage; Infor Sun Systems particularly so, but training will be provided.
- SQL query writing would be very advantageous
- Exposure to reporting and/or BI applications, e.g. MS SSRS advantageous
- Any application installation/configuration experience
- Excellent general IT knowledge – MS Office suite, MS OS etc\
Required Experience:
The greater the specific relevant technical skills and experience available the better, but candidates with the right accounting exposure, approach and willingness to learn will also be considered with a view to being trained in the appropriate technical areas.
