Job Description:
One of the largest financial clients in Charlotte is looking for a PM with eCommerce experience. This is a long term contract, sitting uptown Charlotte. Candidate must be eligible to work on a w-2 basis.
Must haves:
- 7+ years of Project Management experience
- Hands on Project Management
- Good experience tracking financials
- Experience putting together and sending our project plans
- Not looking for Product or Marketing Managers
- eCommerce/Internet/intranet experience
Nice to haves:
- Banking
- Online Banking
- Secure Session or Mobile
- Stamp & Planview
Basic Qualifications: 10+ years experience in internet/ intranet-based business systems or e-business consulting.
Minimum Requirements:
- 10+ years relevant project management experience
- Solid knowledge of financial services and online/mobile environments
- Proven ability in leading project teams and managing complex high visibility projects that span one to two years in duration across multiple stakeholder communities within an organization
- Proven ability in managing a project team throughout the entire project life-cycle from problem definition, requirements definition, design, development, testing and implementation
- Experience in managing a program of projects associated with a specific business strategy
- Solid knowledge of project planning and budgeting on highly complex projects
- Proven experience as a leader, with the ability to coordinate effective collaboration across a team of Project Managers focusing on different functional areas for the same project effort
- Ability to take complex problems and decompose them into well organized, logical and detailed descriptions to facilitate problem solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including delivery of presentations to all levels within the organization
- Ability to develop detailed project plans, based on a work breakdown structure, that provides the ability to manage critical path
- Effective skills in facilitating meetings and other forums involving a large number of participants/stakeholders and driving toward desired outcomes within prescribed time frames
- Ability to lead other individuals and provide guidance, direction and training to others within the team, if needed
- Strong inter-personal, influencing, negotiating, consensus building, and conflict resolution skills
- Commitment to being part of a team and working within a diverse environment
- Ability to be highly organized and effective working in a fast paced environment
- Solid understanding/knowledge of and practical experience using industry-standard SDLC methodologies
- Prior experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated subject-matter expertise or experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Online authentication, authorization, fraud or security
- Online money movement solutions, including Bill Pay
- Mobile Banking
- Online Banking, Secure Messaging/Alerts, e-document delivery, Personal Financial Management solutions and small business solutions
- Web channel management, including online sales and marketing, and application fulfillment
- PMI PMP® Certification
- Experience working in and knowledge of group systems and processes
