As a Windows Infrastructure Lead, your responsibilities will include:
You will be responsible 3rd line Windows Infrastructure Engineer will be a key part of the Desktop & Print Services (DAPS) team based close to some of our key users in India to provide local specialist assistance with desktop and print issues and form relationships with key stakeholders to understand the business requirements and any issues they have with our services
.
· Respond to major Incidents and alerts, including assisting the wider EUT teams with the resolution of those Incidents.
· Investigation and resolution of Problem Records relating to Windows Desktop & Print infrastructure, leading to an overall improvement to Service
· Drive compliance of the platform ensuring all security metrics are adhered to and regular patch & maintenance of the estate is considered a BAU practice
· Proactively identify and manage issues with service performance, develop and drive the delivery of service improvement plans and continuous improvement activities on the product and services
· Participation in the planning, development and delivery of internal projects including functional change and platform refresh.
· Creation, management and implementation of Change according to relevant Change Control procedures
· Facilitate effective communications with all key stakeholders associated with Desktop and Print Services. Proactively inform and educate all stakeholders on impacts and improvements to the products
· Drive awareness into the business and other technology groups of Desktop and Print Services technology products (both hardware and software)
· Produce robust documentation & presentation material for stakeholder consumption operating at varying levels
· Maintain clear focus on agreed and potential demand for the product(s).
· Participation in the on call support rota
· Provision of new and updated Service documentation and knowledge articles
· Daily Checks - ensuring the services supported by DAPS are operating optimally
We expect you to bring the following:
· Relevant experience of 8+ years
Must have investment banking experience
· Strong skills on Microsoft Desktop operating systems and troubleshooting essential
· Experience with troubleshooting and debugging tools a plus
· Be conscious and savvy of desktop and laptop hardware including bios/firmware/drivers
· Excellent understanding of VMware Virtual Center 4.x (VSphere) and its associated concepts as well as of Citrix XenDesktop administration and concepts. The candidate is expected to have a strong foundation in supporting the product
· Proficient in providing Remote Support to users encompassing VDI, MS products etc.
· Experience of working successfully in a complex IT environment in major organisations.

· Good familiarity with Service Now
