On behalf of our client, a Fortune 100 company with over 130,000 employees worldwide, we are now recruiting for a newly formed position of Strategy & Business Development Leader who will report directly to the VP of Strategy & Business Development.
Job Description:
This position will be a member of our clients corporate business development group. This group is instrumental in building a powerful growth culture within Indonesia, focusing on our clients customers, markets and technologies to develop new strategies that will capitalize on the wide range of growth opportunities available to our client in Indonesia.
The individual will work closely with senior leadership across business units and functions within the company (both in the region and globally) to develop a framework for driving growth initiatives across the company, including assessing our clients current portfolio for expansion into new markets and new product offerings, developing organic and inorganic growth strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing annual strategic and operating plans.
- Providing cross-company and cross-divisional support and leadership in the areas of strategy, analysis, best practices and alliances/partnerships./M&A etc.
- Working in high impact strategic and alliances/partnerships/M&A projects at both the Corporate office and within the strategic business groups
- Developing additional business / product opportunities through new platforms and various alliance formats.
- Providing strategic insight, analytical rigor and financial assessments of potential growth and alliances/partnerships/M&A opportunities as well as post-alliance analysis and integration capabilities.
- Bachelors degree / Masters in Business Administration from a top-tier school or top-tier consulting firm experience is preferred. Engineering background is preferred but not required
- He/she will have experience developing and designing implementation plans to drive execution. M&A/strategic alliance background and deal negotiation experience would also be strongly preferred.
- Highly motivated, and possess vision, exceptional ability and enthusiasm. The candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and significant influence management abilities and will possess the interpersonal skills to gain credibility with team members and senior management. The candidate will possess an assertive, energetic, engaging executive presence and strong communication skills.
- English and Bahasa Indonesia fluency is required. This candidate will have an in-depth understanding of both Western business practices / organizational dynamics and Indonesia business practices, culture, societal dynamics.
- Experience working with Indonesia Government entities and companies is strongly preferred
