Job Description:
In this position, you will assist photographers in producing quality work efficiently. You will assist in setup and breakdown of lighting equipment and sets. You will organize the studio and help to maintain photo equipment.
- Assist photographers in areas such as trouble shooting equipment, computer problems, moving walls, etc.
- Basic maintenance and building of sets
- Keep studio in order
- Track, test and send broken equipment out for repair
- Order photographic supplies monthly and purchase items for specific jobs when needed
- Pick up lunches and supplies as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 1-3 Years of experience in a commercial photography studio
- Working knowledge of photographic equipment and materials
- Excels in customer service and client satisfactio
- Verbally articulate with good writing skills
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to details
- Working knowledge of common studio software, including Photoshop, Capture One and Leaf
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to evaluate priorities
- Willingness to work overtime
- Open and honest
- Think innovatively and creatively
- Ability to multitask
- Self-directing; makes critical decisions and works with minimal supervision
- Actively participates in team meeting
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs
