Job Description:
The candidate should be a Graduate/Post graduate Shipping professional and must have at least 5-7 years of relevant experience in managing a Shipping Agency branch. The person must be result oriented, mature and have a pleasant disposition.
Must be able to effectively manage people and external agencies.
Job responsibilities:
To organize and control sales efforts to cover the local market extensively and intensively, Capacity allocation to optimize revenue, market share and maximize lifting's, Organize and control customer support processes to give all customers the feedback they require, Market development - identify, contact, capture and retain new customers, Account responsibilities for specific accounts, Revenue receivables.
Additional Responsibilities would includes Managing overall ICD operations, co-coordinating with customs, CONCOR/rail operators, problem solving, Improving operational procedures and systems, and service innovation, monitoring and control of all operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
