Job Description
At this level individual completely owns Test Execution for the assigned module / product area, Responsible for execution of Manual and Automated test cases. Is fully contributing member responsible for Test Execution, Test case development ( automated / manual),modifications/ enhancements, test case review , end to end support for simple applications and for reporting bugs and test bed issues. At this level individual monitors and escalates risks to lead / PM, checks for schedule adherence to all milestones and assist she lead / Test Manager in preparing final test report. Prepare trace ability matrix In addition, is capable to analyze test requirement and product specifications, analyze test tools and develop test plan.
-->Application Testing(L3)-Should be able to differentiate the different testing phases like UnitIntegration, System, Acceptance, Regression testingand should be capable to perform these tests with the help of ready-test cases.Should understand Test Plans, Requirement TraceabilityMatrix, Orthogonal Array Tool.Should be able to do metrics analysis and reliabilityanalysis effectively with DFA tool.
-->Datacom(L2)-Should have very good understanding of various processes related to testing.Should have good knowledge and expertise in various Layer2 and Layer3 networking protocols.Should be able to understand requirements and come up with test cases for L2/L3 protocols testing.Should have extensive debugging skills.
-->Datacom(L3)-Should have excellent understanding of various testing processes.Should be able to suggest and implement required processes for various projects in Telecom/Datacom domain.Should have very good understanding of L2/L3 protocols and features and field scenarios.Should be able to come up with test planning and test strategy, solution and scalability testing.Should have project implementation and execution skills.
