Position Description
Understand all technical aspects relative to the installation and operation of WMS Network Gaming solutions. Assist WMS Commercial Sales staff to describe features, functions and installation requirements and processes to customers. Work closely with other WMS groups to ensure the timely implementation of Networked Gaming product at a customer’s site. Reports to Executive Director of Network Gaming Technology Operations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Work closely with Product Development groups to fully understand Networked Gaming product functions/features and implementation and networking requirements
- Assist Technical Publications to create/update communication brochures, and manuals to effectively communicate implementation requirements to customers
- Conduct detailed site surveys with customers
- Document and provide all site survey results entering required components to the Commercial Sales staff
- Work with other WMS departments to ensure timely delivery of all hardware to customer’s site
- Coordinate with the Customer’s IT, Slot Operations and Facilities teams to install, configure, and ensure that the Networked Gaming products are operational.
- Assist with scheduling implementation activities with customers, customers’ vendors, and other parties as necessary
- Participate in the timely installation, configuration and activation of Networked Gaming products purchased by the customer at customer’s site
- Conduct follow-up calls to ensure all products are functioning to customer’s expectations
Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Required Experience:
- 2-4 years’ experience in the Computer Systems and Networking field
- Gaming Industry experience in IT or Slot Operations preferred
- Experience in the creation of detailed product installation requirements
- Experience and certifications in Networking, design and implementation preferred
- Experience and certifications in Microsoft operating systems preferred
- Experience in server hardware setup and implementation

- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and communicate ideas and concepts with customers
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully with minimal or no direct supervision
- Excellent follow through skills with particular attention to providing outstanding customer service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software packages
