MMTC Limited, a Government of India:

Enterprise and Managing Promoter of Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL), invites application from Professionals of outstanding managerial competence to fill the post of Executive Director (Commercial) – E 9, Executive Director (Works) - E 9, General Manager (Steel) – E 8 and Deputy General Manager (CCP) – E 7 in NINL. Company profile, job description, experience and qualification etc. required for the post including details of compensation package are given below:- 

COMPANY PROFILE:

Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL), a company promoted by MMTC Ltd, 

Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha limited (IPICOL) and other government agencies has set up an 1.1 million ton Integrated Iron and steel plant at Kalinganagar, Duburi, Dist-Jajpur, Odisha. 

NINL is a full-fledged integrated steel plant engaged in production of steel billets of different qualities with continuous improvement in productivity and consumer satisfaction. The BF coke produced by NINL is of high quality and supplied to almost all units of Steel Authority of India Ltd and Vishakhapatnam Steel Plant. The “KAMDHENU” fertilizer (Ammonium Sulphate) produced, is also in high demand. 

Its registered office is at Bhubaneswar in Odisha. 

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification Age Limit as on 1.7.2013 

Experience:

1. Executive Director (Comml) 

• Degree in Engineering preferably with MBA from a recognized university 52 years Minimum 24 years relevant work experience in different areas of materials management preferably in integrated steel plants. 
• Candidate should have minimum 2 years working experience in senior level below the post advertised. 
• Candidate must have leadership competent to lead a team of professionals. 

2. Executive Director (Works) 

Degree in Metallurgical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from an Institute of repute. 

52 years Minimum 24 years in operation and maintenance of an integrated steel plant of which at least two years should be at General Manager (E8 level of PSU) or equivalent. 

3. General Manager (Steel) 

• Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized institute /university 
• 50 years Minimum 22 years of relevant work experience in operation and maintenance of BOF/LD 
• Converter/Continuous Casting Plant in an integrated steel plant. 
• Candidate should have minimum 2 years working experience in senior level below the post advertised. 
• Candidate must have leadership competent to manage and lead a team of trained professionals. 

4. Dy. General Manager (CCP) 

• Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized institute/ university 
• 48 years Minimum 19 years work experience in Continuous Casting Plant preferably billet caster. 
• Candidate should have minimum 2 years working experience below the post advertised.

Pay scales:

•  Executive Director (Commercial) - Rs.62,000 -3% - 80,000 
•  Executive Director (Works) - Rs.62,000 -3% - 80,000 
•  General Manager (Steel) - Rs.51,300 -3% - 73,000
•  Deputy General Manager (CCP) - Rs.51,300 -3% - 73,000

Relaxation:

Age limit may be relaxed in case of exceptionally deserving candidates. 

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

i) The applicant should ensure that he/ she fulfills the eligibility and other norms mentioned above and that the particulars furnished are correct in all respects. In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and/ or that he/ she has furnished any incorrect/ false information and/ or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/ her candidature will automatically stand cancelled. If any of the above shortcoming(s) is/ are detected even after appointment, his/ her services are liable to be terminated without any notice.

iii) In case of suitable & deserving cases, any of the requirements & conditions of eligibility mentioned above, may be relaxed at the discretion of the Management. The Management reserves the right to fill or not to fill the above advertised posts without assigning any reason thereof.

v) Any canvassing directly or indirectly by the applicant will disqualify his/ her candidature. 

Any dispute with regard to recruitment against this advertisement will be settled within the jurisdiction of Delhi Court only.

vi) Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed to and fro airfare in economy class on submission of air ticket jacket from the given address of communication.
