Job Description:
Ideal candidates should have extensive experience in software product development in the domain of computer networking. The person must be a proficient hands-on application/JAVA developer with deep experience in Linux/Unix based platforms. The person must have strong programming skills and excellent computer science fundamentals on algorithms and advanced software techniques. JBOSS/Hibernate experience is required.
Responsibilities:
This role comes with responsibility of developing NOS (network operations system) that has to scale to worldwide network of 1000s of devices. Network is a cloud based WAN optimization network. Typically, the engineer is expected to own a major module/interface, architect, design document, design, code, unit-test, debug with QA, maintain the delivered code. Involve in architectural discussions, propose high performance implementations, and follow strict software development process and methodologies. This position requires passion and commitment to job and requires excellent communication skills to work with stake holders in US.
Required Skills:
Experience in JAVA J2EE, Hibernate, JBOSS
Must:
- Core skill set (must) : Core Java, J2EE technologies Hibernate, MySQL
- Working Knowledge (must): HTTP, multi-threading and java design patterns
- Working Knowledge (Desirable): Networking, NMS
- Scripting (Desirable): Groovy, Perl, python, shell or ruby.
- Framework (Desirable): Grails, struts or ruby on rails
- Desirable to have work experience with Web services, BPEL, AJAX and servlet/JSP.
- Application Server: JBoss, Web logic or Web sphere
- Tools (Desirable): Java profiling tools, scalability test/improvement.
