Position Title: SOFTWARE DEVELOPER(ASP.NET)
Location: Noida, Hyderabad
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develop Object oriented design
- Work closely with leads and architects to design and build features using ASP.Net, C#, SQL Server and WCF.
- Design and develop high quality code in accordance with privacy, security, and coding standards guidelines.
- Participate in and influence functional, technical specifications, and test plan reviews.
- Follow strongly process driven software development cycle.
FUNCTIONAL AREA:
Web Application Development/Designing, Testing, Maintenance, and implementation.
KEY SKILLS: .NET, C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET, Visual Studio Unit Testing Framework, NUnit, XML/XSL/XSLT, XSD, EDI, SQL, RDBMS, MVC, Windows Services, Web Services, UML, Scripting
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience. Post-graduate coursework may be desirable.
- 4-5 years demonstrated experience in software engineering.
- 4+ years in proficiently developing .Net applications.
- Experience in Windows development environments.
- Familiarity with relational databases, ideally Oracle.
- Strong working knowledge of Object-oriented design/programming, n-tier web applications, XML, JSP/ASP, and relational databases.
- Strong advocate of a process-driven software development lifecycle.
Education: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience; Masters in Computer Science preferred.
Written Abilities:
Proficient grammar, sentence structure and written communication skills. Licenses or Certifications: A preference for active participation and contributions to open source projects
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Windows Development Environments (VS 2010/TFS),
- MS SQL Server 2005 (or higher)
- Enterprise Architect (EA)
- Enterprise systems software
- Client-server applications and messaging
- Modeling tools such as Visio
