Position title: SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER
LOCATION: NOIDA, HYDERABAD
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Create/Develop Software lifecycle activities like functional requirement specification, feasibility analysis report, prototype designs, and SharePoint objects.
- Should be proficient in developing SP Sites Collections like master templates, master pages, templates, Webparts, workflows, features, Webservices , Dataviews, Datasources, Lists, Document Libraries User Interfaces for web based applications using SharePoint Designer, customizing properties and behavior of the controls being used for the application, writing code modules to provide functionality specified as per the requirement specification document.
- Maintenance and updation of the existing code if required, integrate fresh modules into the existing application, creating documentation of the work done, providing end user support etc. Additionally performing administration activities on SharePoint Server or Windows SharePoint Services
FUNCTIONAL AREA: Web Application Development/Designing, Testing, Maintenance, and implementation.
KEY SKILLS: Senior SharePoint software developer reporting to Team Lead
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Candidate must be a MCA/BTech (Computer science).
- Must have 3-6 years experience on ASP.net and C# either standalone or as part of development of MOSS platform, Master Pages, UserControls, WebControls, HTTPModules, WebServices, class libraries, LINQ.
- Must have worked on WSS object model and have good knowledge on EventReceivers, ApplicationPages, MasterPages and Page Layouts, custom code to manipulate and provision SharePoint sites, Querying data from SharePoint sites and lists.
- Must have experience on creation of custom WebParts using visual studio. Should be comfortable with CAML provisioning components, MOSS feature framework, List definitions, site definitions etc.
- Experience on basic web technologies JAVAscript, XML, XSLT, CSS.
Education: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience; Masters in Computer Science preferred.
Written Abilities:
Proficient grammar, sentence structure and written communication skills. Licenses or Certifications: A preference for active participation and contributions to open source projects
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Custom development using Visual Studio 2010 / SharePoint Designer 2010;
- Familiar with SharePoint Object Model and Client Object Mode;
- Customization of OOB Workflows
- Experience on creation of custom workflows with visual studio.
- Experience on Designing UI for Websites. JQuery, AJAX.
- At least 3 years experience in SharePoint Development.
