The Role: We're looking for an exceptionally talented engineer to help us build and scale our APIs and services. You'll have intimate knowledge of constructing highly available and scalable infrastructures (especially for interacting with mobile devices) running in the Amazon EC2 environment across multiple regions and many availability zones.
Demonstrated expertise in the following areas and technologies:
- PHP/Java
- Cassandra
- Web Services and Service Oriented Architecture
- Messaging and locking patterns (ZeroMQ, RabbitMQ, NSQ, Zookeeper etc)
- Passion for maintainable, extensible, and reusable code as well as fast iteration
- Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, data structures and algorithms
- Git-fu
- Remuneration
