Job Title: Network Engineer
The Network Engineer will ensure the operational readiness of Transera’s resources through best practices of network and security engineering. The selected candidate will work independently on highly complex assignments and perform a full range of technical support activities.
Location: Bangalore, Sunnyvale(CA)
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and support the company’s LAN, WAN, and voice infrastructure
- Provide network performance tuning and monitoring
- Develop and recommend strategies for network growth and security
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related experience; Cisco CCIE or CCISP highly desired
- Hands-on experience in environments with data networks and physical layer infrastructure, servers, and LAN/WAN hardware
- Experience managing Voice highly desired
- Experience with Cisco routers, Cisco Catalyst switches, ASA firewalls, load balancers, VoIP, and routing protocols
- Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of LAN, WAN, network security, firewall administration, access and vulnerability management, and VPNs
