Description:
- Responsible for complete engineering function of the products to be manufactured in plant.
- Work in close coordination with the functional heads for smooth & trouble free operations and achieving team targets.
- Plan and ensure accurate and timely release of engineering information for manufacturing to achieve planned targets.
- Plan and ensure continual improvement by use of standardization, value engineering and variety reduction.
- Ensure the material content is optimal for product manufacturing to maximize the profits.
- Plan & implement latest technological improvements decisions taken.
- Share with other plants the technological improvement decisions for uniformity.
- Provide support to marketing function in order booking.
- Be abreast with the technological developments in the industry.
- Plan and Strive for achieving better market positions.
- Be abreast with competitors and their strategy in offering products in market.
- Train, lead and motivate personnel and build performing teams.
- Identify potential areas for growth.
- Ensure management of functions as per the systems and procedures.
- Ensure efficient use of departmental resources
