Job Description:
- Perform on site troubleshooting, programming, testing and contractor supervision on fire alarm, communication and security systems; perform service, inspections and installation activities on life safety equipment
- Exhibit effective customer service skills, by consistently communicating with the Service Dispatcher, Service Managers, and our customer to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customers need
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities
- Understands the importance of providing quality service
- Experience in maintaining job site documentation (example, time sheets, as-built drawings
- Must adhere to all OSHA and SimplexGrinnell safety policies and procedures
- Must be able to lift equipment and tools up to 40 lbs. and be able to climb ladders and scaffolding
Qualifications:
- 3- 5 yrs related experience in low voltage installation, preferable fire alarm installation
- Hand tool, power tool and multi-meter usage experience
- NICET Level Certification a plus
- Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Excellent written, verbal and organizationall skills.
