Description:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for revenue generation through space selling to colleges and educational institutes. You must be able to integrate knowledge across disciplines to include cold calling, consultative selling,
product demonstrations and closing contracts. You will work with the marketing and sales team to draft proposals for clients and be responsible for the entire sales process from prospecting and identifying to visiting campuses across India in order to close deals.
Desired Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials; MBA preferred
- 3-5+ years of Experience in Educational/Institutional sales specifically dealing with Colleges/Universities
- Knowledge and Experience of Internet Space selling or Media Sales in dotcom/print is a plus
- Self-Motivated and able to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to work in a team and lead people
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Tech savvy and comfortable with internet, MS Office etc.
- Strong business acumen, ethics and high integrity
- Enthusiastic about working in a startup environment
