Scope of Responsibility/Expectation:

Candidate will provide technical direction on natural language technology evaluation, acquisition, and optimization. Candidate will be responsible for company-wide Voice Recognition (VR) engine optimization with noise reduction, Noise reduction design for VR, simulation environment of VR recognizer front end, and VR accuracy improvements for Motorola products.
Candidate will advise and consult on technology trends for voice control applications and drive long term development road maps for always on voice control technology.
Candidate will be responsible for competitive benchmarking and analysis of competitor intellectual property and contribute to IP development of Motorola developed technology.
Will lead design direction for natural language processing and noise reduction design solutions.

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

Seasoned professional having broad expertise and unique knowledge in voice recognition solvers and multi microphone noise reduction with voice recognition.
Natural language processing skills to contribute to development of long term voice control roadmaps.
Seasoned multi microphone noise reduction algorithm design experience for accuracy improvements of mobile products.
Detailed knowledge of speaker dependent and speaker independent Voice Recognition front end Acoustic Feature Extraction design.
Working experience in setting up VR simulation environments, accuracy evaluation methodologies, and noise reduction optimization for voice recognition.
