Position Title: User Interface Designer
Location: San Francisco, CA
Responsibilities:
- Work with our product and engineering teams to develop visually stunning products.
- Build and develop high-fidelity mockups
- Design and maintain UI with a multi-platform mindset
- Creating clear icons, messaging, buttons, and other UI elements for different platforms (smartphones, tablets and web)
- Operating within clear thematic styles and creating UI that accents and expands upon them
- Collaborating with the Project Managers on flows, wireframes, and look and feel
- Creating best practices for UI/UX creation
- Working with the engineering team to maximize usability and performance
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Expert understanding of UI design best practices and interaction design fundamentals
- Strong portfolio, featuring examples of designs you built
- Excellent ability to articulate your design decisions (verbally and written)
- Very organized and able to manage multiple projects
- Knowledge of usability principles and techniques
- Ability to translate flow charts and wireframes into fun, usable, visually polished UI systems
- Must enjoy iterating toward the best solutions
- Strong passion for making strong interface.
