Experience required: 3 to 5yrs
Skills required:
- Knowledge of copyright and trademark law as applied to copyrights and permissions.
- Familiarity with subsidiary rights licensing, including foreign rights and merchandising.
- Substantial experience managing permissions for large textbooks and media products, including anthologies.
- Background with negotiating with vendors and freelancers and success with getting fees lowered.
- Multi media rights knowledge of a wide scope of rights including: print, electronic, audio, video and music recording rights.
