Job Role: Senior Engineer (Plant Manintenance)

Job Number: 654449

Location: Chennai, India

Business Unit: Climate Solutions

Responsibilities:

• Erection & commissioning of plant & machineries.
• To perform predictive, preventive & B/d maintenance on plant equipments in a systematic approach.
• Co-ordination with TNEB, CEIG & other external agencies related to AMC, Service, etc
• Spare parts management
• To initiate and implement Kaizen activities & energy conservation.
• Training of technicians
• Preparation and up-keeping of MIS, EHS, Quality System documents

Essential:

• In depth knowledge of electrical and electronics trouble shooting.
• Working experience in Substation & utilities
• PLC programming, SCADA and VFD
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical drives.
• Erection & commissioning / Low cost automation / POKA YOKE

Desirable:

• TPM knowledge
• C license 
• QMS / EMS / OHSAS Awareness.
• Quality Circles
