Job Description:
- Command line hands on knowledge of Cisco routers and switches including:
- ASR9K running native IOS-XR
- Catalyst 2900 series switches
- Catalyst 6500 series switches
- Cisco GSR platform
- Cisco 7200 platform
- Spirent and IXIA test tools
- SNMP testing (traps and MIBS)
- Detailed knowledge of BGP, OSPF, static and MPLS routing
- Ability to decode and analyze packets
- Detailed knowledge of Access Control Lists
- Knowledge of SNMP useful
- UNIX workstation operation, particularly Solaris and LINUX
- Remote Access experience with dial up modems
- Knowledge of database applications built on Oracle
- Ability to work with vendors on problem resolution.
