Description:
You will need to be a highly motivated and proficient Web Programmer Analyst to design, develop, implement, test, and support applications that are built on Sharepoint platform. You must demonstrate an ability to operate effectively in a quick-paced, dynamic environment & a proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and support the applications built on Sharepoint.
- Develop and support customizations and enhancements to existing applications.
- Work with project managers and customers to scope work and produce estimates to help define deliverables and timelines
- Demonstrate a good understanding of Sharepoint and recommend new features and modifications based on experience
- Interact with business analyst to clarify requirements, manage project delivery, and obtain feedback on deliverables
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1.5-3 years of experience developing on .NET (ASP.NET and C#)
- Minimum 2 years experience on Sharepoint 2007
- Atleast one year on Sharepoint 2010
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with peers and management, including interacting with a global team
- Demonstrated Proficiency on .NET specifically ASPX and C# as well as Sharepoint including Sharepoint API, Sharepoint workflows, Infopath
- Strong experience in client-side scripting (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX)
- Excellent customer focus
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Quick grasp of customer requirements and the ability to translate them into technical designs.
Skills:
- Silverlight exposure will be a preferable skill
- Experience with scripting languages (Powershell)
- Experience deploying upgrades and patches in a Sharepoint environment
- Good understanding of the Sharepoint environment in terms of logical and physical architecture
- Experience in Sharepoint 2010 migration.
