Scope deliverables:
- The L&I Engineer deliverables typically can include all or part of the below:
- Logistics Infrastructure and Resource Assessment - professional assessment of the anticipated logistics environment the project will be executed within.
- Logistics Front End Loading Plan – a plan outlining the roadmap with logistics deliverables, contributions and involvement thought the project phases up to final investment decision (FID)
- Logistics Concept Selection - high level Logistics methodologies and infrastructure utilization. Includes contribution to, and review of, the Project Concept Selection Report.
- Logistics Operating Philosophy - definition of the principles and premises that will be applied in execution of Logistics Operations; during the project phase as well as ultimate operations phase.
- Logistics Execution Strategy - definition of the strategic logistics decision towards executing the project,as well as subsequent Logistics Contracting Strategy. This includes contribution to and review of the Project Execution strategy.
- Logistics Cost & Schedule Estimation – contribution to project and operational (activity based) cost estimates and associated schedule implications.
- Design contribution – contribution to and review of the logistics aspect of the facilities design work, including feasibility of associated transport requirements.
- Logistics Execution Plan - definition of the agreed plan on how logistics will be executed. This includes contribution to and review of the Project Execution Plan.
- Logistics Contracting – development of logistics contracting plan, tender scope and specifications through involvement in tendering, clarification, evaluation and reward recommendations.
- Any Degree in Logistics Or Civil or equivalent with Minimum of 10 + years of experience in oil & gas industry and 15 +years of experience, if from any other industry (Mining/Power/Heavy industries)
- Should be willing to travel frequently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Managing movement of materials and personnel.
- Managing the storage of materials and accommodating personnel.
- Procuring logistics services through commercial tendering process.
- Execution of a senior logistics role in an oil and gas industry environment.
- Responsible for taking strategic logistics decisions.
- Experience in the following areas is considered of additional value:
- Responsible or involved in the management of waste.
- Involved and experienced in provision of emergency response capability.
- Execution of a logistics role in a project execution environment.
- Involved in oil & gas industry roles with a strong interface with logistics services
