Job Role: Java Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end delivery of a small scope release or own major module of same scope.
Discuss the requirements with Business Analysts, suggest changes/improvements analyze the requirement gaps.
Lead the team through all the stages of SDLC.
Carry out code reviews and set development standards

Qualification:

3+ years of experience in software development
Ability to take end-to-end ownership and deliver the release on time with high quality.
Work with teams that are distributes across different geographical locations.
Display high levels of commitment. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Agility to switch across multiple teams/ products/ applications and perform.
Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, problem solving, and complexity analysis
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices. Understanding of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in core Java/J2EE ,Advanced Java (Hashmaps,Multithreading,Concurrency packages,Collection framework Connection pool,Implementation,Executor framework and Reentrant Lock).
Knowledge of SQL queries and database concepts(Index,Clustered,Non Clustered,Joins, Nested Queries,Distinct ,group by,where,having etc, 2-way transcation,3-way transaction commit protocol and rollback)
Good in Algorithm , problem solving and DS

Education: Bachelors in CS/ Engineering. M.S. preferred.
