Vector Control Research Centre,
Pondichery - Accounts Officer
Applications are invited upto 12.02.2013 from the departmental candidates working in various
ICMR institutes/ Centres/ Head-quarters to fill up one post of Accounts Officer
(Unreserved) at Vector Control Research Centre, Indira Nagar, Puducherry in the
Pay Band-3 Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade Pay Rs.5400/- plus usual allowances as
admissible under the rules.
Eligibility Criteria:
Section Officer with 5 years regular service in the
Pay Band-2 Rs.9300-34800 plus Grade Pay of Rs.4600/- (pre-revised pay scale of
Rs.6500-200-10500) and 2 years experience in budget and accounts/ audit related
work along with training in Cash & Accounts from ISTM shall be eligible.
Job Requirements:
The duties of Accounts Officer include pre-checking
of bill presented by DDO, preparation of budget, compilation of accounts
(including preparation of balance sheet), audit, scrutiny of financial proposal
relating to purchase of stores equipments, capital etc., tendering of financial
advice to the head of the Institute.
Section officers fulfilling the requisite
qualification, experience and wish to be considered for the above post may send

are also required to express their willingness in writing to work as Accounts
Officer at Vector Control Research Centre, India Nagar, Medical Complex, Puducherry for a minimum period of one year.
