Job Role: Software Architect
Responsibility:
- Technically and architecturally responsible for an entire project/ set of functionalities.
- Responsible for the requirement translation, design and description of the overall layer architecture in modular, easy-to-maintain and extendible parts;
- Responsible for the consistency, integration of deliverables
- Provides input on technical competence, skill development and hiring of engineering staff
- Provides input to the project development environment and test strategies
- Responsible for component module/ sub- system design
- Responsible for implementation of key modules and can develop quick working prototypes
- Review work products and ensure the quality of deliverables
- Responsible for overall project’s technical adherence of development to Quality processes & regulatory, audit aspects,
- Responsible for all technical communication – internal and external
- Provides guidance to development and test teams with respect to overall design and development
- Supports project manager in effort estimation by defining and estimating work-break-downs and supports in defining task specifications towards a team of engineers
- Identifies key technical risks and assists project manager in developing mitigation and recovery plan
Personal Characteristics:
- Proactive and self-driven, possesses due sense of urgency
- Shall be very good technically; possess systems mindset and good problem solving abilities.
- Ability to see big picture, abstract. Also get into details and challenges.
- Working with multisite teams, Quality conscious and Process & customer Oriented
- Ability to work/manage ambiguity, comfortable with practicing agile development methodology
- Firm decision maker and shall possess good influencing skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to stay focused on the target in an ambiguous situation.
- Openness to collaborate in interest of project/organization.
Qualifications :
- BE/MS in computer science/ information technology/Electronics/ Electronics and telecommunication.
- Microsoft application development related certifications will be a plus
