PAREXEL Hiring Application Support Engineer – B.Tech/BE, BS, M.E/M.Tech – Hyderabad

The candidate should have completed a Degree or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, Or equivalent work experience and have a demonstrable experience and interest in programming using any of the industry standard languages.

Should have a sound working knowledge of written and spoken English is required to ensure full communication within project teams.
Should have the knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle
Should have the familiarity with the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
Should have the ability to interpret and question project requirements documentation.
Should be able to produce clear and concise technical documentation.

JOB DESCRIPTION / DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

The Application Support Engineer is responsible for the support and maintenance of eCTS applications.
The post holder will perform application go-lives and support the applications throughout their active live time and will ensure the provision of 100% customer focus at all times.
The Application Support Engineer would be responsible for taking off hour, emergency calls during a 24 x 7, two week rotation.
The Application Support Engineer would also, be required to work their regularly scheduled day shift.
